Get Help: Emotional abuse is as devastating as any other type of abuse. It must not be discounted just because there are no visible bruises or broken bones. You must find a therapist who has compassion and skills to help you work through the impact of the abuse on you and then help you learn how to manage and let go of the negative consequences of this trauma.
