Many things.: Treating arthritis in its many forms, treating soft-tissue injuries not requiring surgery, dealing with low back pain and fibromyalgia. Osteoporosis tx and prevention is dealt with. Also, their are groups of autimmune diseases including sle, sjogren's, sclerderma, polymyositis, vascultis, and others. We give chemotherapy, use infusable drugs, perform joint injections (i also do nerve blocks).

See below: Rheumatologists is a sub-specialty of adults and kids which focuses on the diagnosis and therapy of rheumatic diseases which are diseases that mainly affect and cause clinic problems with the joints, soft tissues, autoimmune diseases (where the body's immune system attacks itself), vasculitis and inherited connective tissue disorders.
