What are the differences between swine flu and the normal flu?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Swine vs winter flu: Not much. They both give high fever, cough, runny nose, and achiness all over (fever & achiness all over are the hallmarks of flu). Both can make you feel really lousy and have to take to bed (severe malaise, fatigue). Your job is to take as much fluids and eat as much good food as you can to help you recover. Swine flu was associated with somewhat more deaths than usual winter flu--kids & elderly.
