How do you get rid of repetitive strain injury from playing guitar every day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stop playing: This depends on what the strain injury is, but in generally overuse injuries respond well to stopping the activity or changing the ergonomics of how you are playing as well as icing and nsaids. Bracing is often beneficial (counterforce brace for lateral epicondylitis).
