Liver failure: There has been report of very rare cases of liver failure, but otherwise the side effects from xenical is more of a nuisance rather than dangerous--oily stool/spotting, flatulence, increase defication, fecal incontinence, nausea, vomitting. Also, some reduced absorption of some fat-soluble vitamins (adek). Otherwise, quite safe drug, hence it is sold otc as alli. If trouble, consult doc. Good luc.
