An Examination!: Unfortunately any physician can call themselves a pain management specialist. As a result you may not know what level or expertise you are getting. This visit should be comprehensive and you should have a through examination. They should review your images (mri, x-rays) with you if you have them to share. They should outline a course of treatment and provide education about your condition.
