What are the symtoms of thyroid disorders?

4 doctors weighed in across 2 answers

Depends on Disorder: An overactive thyroid may make you feel like you just drank a pot of coffee: jittery, anxious, rapid/irregular heart beat, headache, insomnia, more frequent trips to the bathroom, weight loss, weak. Underactive thyroid may feel like you're tired all the time, constipated, dry skin/hair, maybe a little weight gain. There may be other symptoms but these are the most common.
