Depends: Many times surgeons limit the scope of their practice. They would have been trained to fix them, but may not feel they should, if they had not done that type of surgery recently.

Depends: Many times surgeons limit the scope of their practice. They are trained to do so as general surgeons, but if after specializing in colorectal surgery, they may not have done that type of surgery recently.
