Left wrist/hand: Are you left-handed? Do much repetitive motion work like keyboarding/ typing, hammering, peeling vegetables, etc? What anti-inflammatory med are you taking? (tylenol (acetaminophen) is not anti-inflammatory) how often? Symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome can persist despite treatment if the causative action isn't changed or stopped. Try icing wrist (palm side) & using wrist brace. See doc again if not better.

Carpal tunnel syndro: Sound like you have carpal tunnel syndrome. Antiinflamatories do not help as this is not an inflammatory problem. You need to see a hand surgeon.

Be patient: Anti-inflammatories are a good starting point for treatment of your symptoms. It may take several days or weeks before you notice any change in your symptoms. Try to eliminate activities that make your symptoms worse. If there are no improvements after a few weeks, see a board certified orthopaedic hand specialist.
