i was on topamax (topiramate) yrs ago n it caused me to be like a zombie.when someone would talk2 me it was like i wasn't there.was that a side effect of it?

It's likely: Side effects of Topamax include confusion and difficulty with concentration, attention, and memory. It may also have negative impact on working memory, and processing speed. The best indicator of whether it was related to Topamax is if the effects went away shortly after stopping the medication.
