i took a tumble off my bike landing on my face. i now have a week later some discomfort when i cough in my chest. could i have bruised my lung?

Bike accident: More than likely you bruised your chest muscles and ribs with your fall. There is a possibility that you cracked a rib, but i would think there would be more pain. If you are having no shortness of breath or feeling bad then use advil (ibuprofen) and give it more time.
