Observation: Observation for possible secondary bacterial infection and an antihistamine for the itch and inflammation (if present). Also, over the counter strength Hydrocortisone (1%) may help reduce the swelling.

tx: You can take antihistamines if you feel itchy. Topical steroid creams can be used on lesions. Blistering is usually a sign of hypersensitivity. For a severe allergic reaction to bites or for any signs of infection please seek medical evaluation and treatment.
