A member asked:

What is the best way for a person to increase their hemoglobin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Is your hb low or do you want it to be higher than normal? If it is low, first step is to determine the cause and treat the cause. If you are deficient in iron, a common cause of anemia, spinach, crude sugar, and red meats will provide iron. Living at high altitude will raise the hb in a normal person.
