Many: Blood infections from chemo. Gut infectious (c. Diff) from antibiotics. Other GI viral infections. Lung infections from bacteria or from fungus (smoking, especially pot, can increase the risk of fungal lung disease). Reactivated viral infections like herpes or shingles.
