Write a letter: You need to write a letter to the school requesting that he receive psychometric testing to rule out a learning disorder. The individuals with disabilities education act, or idea makes it where your request for evaluation can initiate a legally mandated timetable where the school has to test your child. You should give your request to the special education administrator at your school.
