Probably not kidney: In your age group with no risk factors most back pain is of muscular origin related to strains or poor muscle development supporting the spine. This is particularly true if you do a lot of lifting and do not bend your knees while lifting. Another possibility if it occurs around your periods is pelvic colic radiating to the back.
