Chronic cough: A chronic cough can be a sign of allergies, asthma, cystic fibrosis, primary complex and many other conditions.. Doing a blood test, a chest x-ray perhaps and a sweat test is in order among others. Evaluation by an allergist to rule out allergies and/or a pulmonologist to rule out asthma, cystic fibrosis and many others.
