Not necessarily: During pregnancy, some women (especially those with prior histories of depression and anxiety) can be at risk for developing depression and anxiety. This can be related to the physical and hormonal changes associated with pregnancy as well as the stress of the pregnancy (change is stressful even when it is a good change). Low potassium is not directly related to either, but can also occur.
