A member asked:

Why do drs take a wait and see approach when you found a lump on your body my dr felt and said seems like ok come bk in 2 months why not take out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many different ways: There are many different ways of practicing medicine. And in most cases, there is more than one "right" way to treat a particular problem. Not knowing the specifics for your lump (how it feels, movable vs. Immovable, how long its been present, fluctuance, location, etc.) it is difficult to guess the reason for one's particular approach. Discuss this with your doctor, or get a 2nd opinion.
