Gradual Exposure: The glans or head is designed to be sensitive. Foreskins help protect this sensitivity. After circumcision, the glans becomes desensitized. In some cases, uncircumcised men have extreme pain with exposure of the glans (usually during sex). In these cases, on a regular/daily basis, they are shown how to retract their foreskin and slowly desensitize their glans thru increased stimulation.
