What happens when non-absorbable sutures were not completely removed by med student?

Mostly okay: I am assuming you are talking about sutures on your incision. I have seen patients with retained sutures for years without any problem but some do get an infection or suture granuloma that requires the removal of any foreign body in order to heal.
