Swim: When people swim, they normally plantarflex their feet. This takes stress off of the achilles tendon. It helps relax the tendon. Massaging the achilles tendon against the jet-stream from the pool may also help in bringing extra circulation to the tendon allowing it to heal.

Bike: Biking, and mild elliptical machines are exercises that will not aggravate the achilles. Don't forget to stretch.
