my achilles tendon and hip flexor have been hurting..is it possibly because of too much exercise?

Yes, maybe: If resting and light stretching for a week doesn't resolve the issue, get evaluated.

Absolutely: It is definitely possible to be over exercising or under resting. You also could have a gait disturbance that is causing you to put abnormal forces on these tendons which is causing your pain.
