A member asked:

How much water does the average human body need per day in tropics?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Water need: Water makes up more than 60 percent of body weight. Suggest that six to eight glasses of water daily is generally the daily requirement cited by experts. You may not need that much but in the tropics where sweating significantly i would try to get more water. It also will vary depending on the climate be it arid or humid. Studies have shown that our cognitive function improves when hydrated.
