How do you go about choosing your ob/gyne?

Dr. Alvin Lin answered

Ask family & friends: Ask around. Those "top doctor" awards can only go so far. So ask your family & friends who they like. Also know what you need from your ob/gyn. If you just need well woman "stuff", family physicians like myself are trained to provide that (some still deliver babies!). If you need surgery, then ask your family doc who s/he would recommend. Bottom line, ask around! good luck!
