Agatroban: Agatroban is an anticoagulant. Its use in pregnancy and gestational thrombocytopenia is not well known or studied. It is a class b drug and may be used in pregnancy if medically necessary but under strict monitoring by the physician. It may cause excessive bleeding with gestational thrombocytopenia.

Does not add up: Argatroban is an anticoagulant. Why would you want to use an anticoagulant if you already have a tendency to bleed?
