A member asked:

How much time is too long between shots before you have to start the hepatitis b series over?

Depends on shots: The normal recommendation is shots at 0, 1 and 6 months. However, there is a 5percent failure rate of the vaccine. If it has been more than a year, you should start over. You should also get an antibody for hepatitis b which will show if the vaccine caused you to be immune or not.
