How long is the stay in the hospitail after a vaginal hysterectomy?

Usually 1 day: Most people are ready to go home the next day, depending on if they are tolerating food, urinating ok, have no fever and their pain is controlled with oral pain meds.

Varies: May be a few hours to a few days. Most of my patients are 23 hours observation and home the day after the surgery.
