A member asked:

Can heart blockages be successfully treated with meds, exercise and a heart-healthy diet?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Once a blood vessel gets bstructed the reversal process it s almost impossible. There is a remodeling taking place in the vessel lumen that can lead to recanalization but not very often.. Usually the ischemic changes dont allow the remodelling process to take place in a timely fashion manner. But exercise and diet can prevent further blockages.
