No: This a disease that has a very variable course, but many people live for decades with this disease and need no treatment. In its aggressive form, and well as non aggressive form there is no cure. Hydroxyurea is not usually a first line treatment for this disease.

Cure?: There are many treatnents used to treat cll. However the only therapy that may be curative is a stem cell or bone marrow transplant from a donor.
