A member asked:

What is the correct breakthrough medication cause i'm taking fentanyl 75 mcg but the breakthrough medication isn't working no more wich is 10 mg oxy?

They are all similar: You are in an unfortunate position, 19 and already on major, major opiates. Opiates only take the edge off. They do not relieve pain completely. They are just one tool in helping you make pain more manageable. Some days they work well enough, and some days you wonder why you bother taking them. Once these facts make sense, it will be easier to develop more tools for managing your pain.
