I have been short of breath with head and ear congestion i have had xrays and ekg what causes this i am a 27 year old female?

Probably viral : If you are young and otherwise healthy it is likely a viral syndrome. This may be related to associated reactive airways disease or a possible pericardial effusion (fluid around the heart). A possible but less likely scenario may be an associated weakness of the heart muscle. Would rec. An md with great physical diagnosis skills and possibly an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart).
