What're the differences between medicine & rehabilitation doctor and a pain management doctor?

Usually different: Rehabilitation doctors specialize in helping patients after injuries or strokes that cause loss of function. Some rehabilitation doctors may choose to do further training in pain management. Pain management involves the management of chronic pain, which include prescribing medications and performing procedures that help with these pain conditions.

Specializes in Pain Management

Many: The medical speciality of physical medicine and rehabilitation (rehab doc, physical med doc, etc) is very broad. Pain management is a subspecialty for these doctors. Some may choose to specialize in traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, musculoskeletal medicine or even palliative medicine. There is a difference just more specialized.
