Should i read aloud to my baby while pregnant?

Yes: If you want to! babies do hear their mother's voice, and reading is often soothing in tone and rhythm. If reading to your baby relaxes you, and seems to calm your baby, go for it! there is not much "proof" that reading to the baby in utero will give the baby a head start, but it won't hurt.

See below: This has been advocated so that they baby will "recognize" the sound of your voice when born.
