Depends: There are plenty of toe walkers in this world with no issues, but with some you can have a contracted or short achilles tendon. This can cause other pathology. Bottom line, if there is no pain, i would not worry so much. In a child, heel lifts in the shoes can help train the child to eliminate the condition. (if in a child - a consultation with podiatrist is recommended.).
