Foot pain: Foot pain is evaluated by history, clinical exam and imaging studies as indicated. Sometimes we also order lab work for some conditions.

Carefully: A proper history, examination, palpation, possibly range of motion testing, strength of muscles. It really depends on the chief complaint.
