A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very unusual: Decrease sensation or altered sensation can be localized to a limb or bilateral from nerve injury or brain insult---hyperventilation and anxiety cause generalized numbness---but objectively they feel cold, hot, pin prick some rare genetic disorders cause congenital insensitivity to pain need to go to doctor to be examined.
