Chest wall pain: Chest wall outside covering lungs inside covering chest wall = pleuracy. Not a serous problem. Most likely diagnosis.

Difficult to answer: Your symptom is difficult to analyse. Sharp stinging pain lasting couple of seconds, does not sound ominous. However if it bothers you, get it checked.
