Can nuvaring cause sensitivity of inner or outer labias? can a uti cause it? got a uti after starting it, so i want to find out which is the culprit.

Difficult to know: Vaginal itching and irritation have been reported, as has vaginal infection as potential side-effects, but this does not exclude other possible sources for this. Should not be causing uti, but the position of the ring could potentially place pressure on the urethra, causing a transient obstruction, which may lead to secondary uti.
