Is it true that there is a connection between epstein-barr virus and fibromyalgia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: There is no evidence that epstein-barr virus (ebv) causes fibromyalgia (fms). Yet, many "experts" claim to find a connection. As fms is a painful condition that truly affects people's lives, others try to exploit fms patients and sell them bogus treatments and unecessary tests (eg., ebv testing). For fms, exercise helps. Weight loss (if overweight) helps. Dietary changes and medications can help.
