Heart problem ...: Primary amyloidosis is a disease caused by abnormal cells in the bone marrow that secrete a protein that eventually forms into amyloid protein deposits in different organs. In this case cardiomyopathy refers to the deposition of amyloid in the heart muscle causing the heart to be weaker. It is a life threatening disorder.
