Several symptoms: Fibromyalgia makes you feel tired and causes muscle pain and "tender points." tender points are places on the neck, shoulders, back, hips, arms or legs that hurt when touched. People with fibromyalgia may have other symptoms, such as trouble sleeping, morning stiffness, headaches, and problems with thinking and memory, sometimes called "fibro fog.".

No individual way: Pain is a very individual symptom. Fibromyalgia can range from an aching to a burning pain and needs to be in multiple areas to qualify. In addition there may be muscle spasms and areas of vague pain discomfort or even a feeling of numbness in areas (not really numb though) severe headaches are common too and on and on. You should se a physician experienced in fibromyalgia if you are concerned.

A Pain Wrap: ? What is fibromyalgia (FM) syndrome like? As one without FM, I might not be best to describe, yet I have treated many. FM feels like a body encased in pain which is aroused by movement, especially when reclining to sleep, which is restless, non-refreshing, abbreviated & beset w. frequent awakenings causing severe chronic fatigue, "foggy" mentation, & serious depression. Life sucks!
