Fullness is common: Clomiphene citrate (clomid) is a synthetic medication that causes the pituitary gland to secrete more follicle stimulating hormone (fsh) and luteinizing hormone (lh). Fsh in particular stimulates ovaries to mature many follicles (cysts that contain eggs). Since normally a woman grows only 1 follicle every cycle, the multiple follicular development that occurs with Clomid (clomiphene) can cause fullness.
