Not Really: Bcp's provide hormonal changes that would decrease not increase hair growth. They are used for this purpose to treat polycystic ovarian syndrome, pcos. The only mechanism for you at age 46 that you might see increased hair is if your inherent estrogen production was way down due to age and in the pill free(cycle) week the androgen to estrogen was high. So if no bcp's you would have more hair.
