No: It is a type of birth control pill, and you should not be getting your period while on this pill. It actually is a Progesterone only pill and inhibits the lining from forming so there really should not be a lot of lining to shed anyway. All bodies tolerate each medication differently however.

Micronor, (norethindrone) Period: Micronor (norethindrone) is a mini pill and has progersterone only. It is usually prescribed while a woman is breastfeeding and therefore a woman may not have any periods while taking it. If a woman takes micronor (norethindrone) under other circumstances, they may have extra breakthrough bleeding.
