Tetanus: If you are not aware of your tetanus vaccination, a blood test can determine your immunity not only against tetanus but also to other disease prevented by vaccines. If you had immunizations during infancy and received your booster when you were 4 - 5 years old, you may be protected. However, if you have not received a booster since that time, you definitely need a tetanus booster.
