A member asked:

Is it true ghonera and chlamydia can cause yeast infections? if so, how?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not true: Gonorrhea, chlamydia, and yeast are three different kinds of infection. Neither of them causes the others. The only possible connection is that, if you are given antibiotics for gonorrhea or chlamydia, antibiotics can often cause a yeast infection.
