A 48-year-old member asked:

what types of vitamins can give you an energy boost?

Don't believe ads: 1st things 1st. Find out why you need more energy. Depression? Anemia? Underactive thyroid? Heart or kidney failure? Poor sleep? Uncontrolled diabetes? Obesity? There are pills to fix most medical conditions but it's safer if you can keep yourself healthy in the first place. No vitamins actually boost your energy no matter what manufacturers advertise unless you're truly deficient. Go see ur doc.

All the same: The extra vitamins, minerals and iron that are required during pregnancy are all available in the appropriate amounts in any over the counter adult multivitamin. There is nothing extra special or better about a prenatal. A higher price does not mean it is better for you.

Take one: There are many brands of prenatal vitamins each with a slightly different compilation of vitamins. The best one to take is the one that you like. Folate (folic acid) in prenatal vitamins has been shows to prevent certain birth defects especially if taken before pregnancy. Find one you like and take it daily.

A 47-year-old member asked:

Besides cell phones, what are other sources of rf energy that cause cancer?

Proof of cell: Phone link not yet in, microwaves are relatively safe, but radiation is in the electromagnetic spectrum and is a clear cause, and u-v light is part of the spectrum causing skin cancers. All seem to demonstrate direct links to dose and time of exposure. X-rays seem to have no threshold, but very low doses are very unliklely to lead to individual harm, but to a population, a small number will.
