PREVACID/LONG TERM: It might interfere with absorption of certain drugs where gastric ph level is important vit B12 deficiency atrophic gastritis very rare reports of hip fractures infectious diarrhea due to reduced acid in stomach dependance on the drug, if you stop you get worse symptoms of heart burn, than it was before you stated taking it and have to go back on it.
