Yes: Mindfulness meditation. The good news is this has begun to cross over where psychologists now also teach and practice it. Of course, there are other forms such as acupuncture, massage therapy, etc. That may fall into this category.

I am a psychiatrist: I have been trained by the military to perform acupuncture to help care for wounded warriors. There are acupuncture protocols for PTSD, Traumatic Brain injury, Depression, Insomnia, Anxiety, ADHD, Tinnitus, Etc. ETC. It can bring hope to someone whose life has been shattered.
